Homework

Maths and English homework is set on Seesaw every Friday to be completed by the following Friday. 

We should be reading daily at home and recording a comment in our reading diary every time we read. We also ask you to complete a pink reading journal task whenever you complete a book. A big focus in Year 4 is practising times tables and spellings (including using Spelling Shed and Times Tables Rock Stars). 

MTC

In the Summer term, year 4 pupils will undertake the statutory MTC (multiplication tables check). All pupils must learn times tables up to 12x12. In school, we will be learning times tables and practising daily but it is also important to practise daily at home too. 

PE days

Class 4 have PE lessons on Thursday afternoons and Friday afternoons.

Class 5 have PE lessons on Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings.

Class 6 have PE lessons on Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings.

Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly labelled with your child's name.
