Please find below the National Curriculum which as a school we follow:

The areas of history we cover in each year group:

During the month of October, we celebrated Black History month. Each class focused on one influential person and created a piece of work based around their life.

As a school we celebrate Remembrance Day yearly. This event focuses around different themes that are important to remember during the period of 'remembrance'.

In 2020 we celebrated the theme of compassion.

In 2021 we looked at the life of Moina Belle Michael and how she encouraged the use of the 'Poppy' as a symbol of remembrance.

In 2022 we looked at the importance of the services and why we remember them.

We are all very excited to be joining together to celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee. We have a week long celebration starting on Monday 23rd May 2022 celebrating the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
