In Year 6, we are all working extremely hard to fulfil our learning potential and prepare the children for the upcoming SATs in May. Our super parental support greatly benefits the learning process for our students. Boosters began in the Autumn term and have proven to have a positive impact.

Year 6 Curriculum Overview

Year Six is a very important year for a number of reasons:

  • It’s the final year of being at New Invention Junior School;
  • It’s time to choose your secondary school;
  • As the school’s eldest learners, pupils in Year Six set an example of how to behave and have an excellent attitude to learning to all of the other years;
  • In May, children take their SAT tests;
  • Rich experiences on visits to Paris and Drayton Manor.
